New Kohler framelss sliding shower door. This glass seems REALLY bouncy and weak to me. Is this an issue, or just my personal paranoia? From Lowe’s Review: We just had this door (professionally) installed. It looks great. It slides smoothly. it doesn’t leak. It seemed great … until I gave the glass a little push. Oh my! It seems to me the glass is too thin. It bounces dramatically – in and out – with just a light push from your fingertips. I didn’t press my luck, but I could surely break this glass with very little effort. Maybe I just don’t have enough faith in the durability and strength of “tempered” glass; maybe I’m concerned about nothing. But I’m more than a little worried that someone may lose their balance in the shower, and either lean into or push on this glass too hard. I can only imagine the carnage if a 70″ piece of glass breaks into jagged pieces, crashes down, and turns a naked bather into sushi. Again, maybe this is a non-issue … but I’ll be showering with caution for a while.

www.betterbasketball.com – If you are familiar with my previous videos, you know that they tend to follow a specific formula. I organize every subject into a teaching progression — this means that the complexity of the skills and information build from the earliest chapters where I assume you know nothing about the subject to the final chapters where we discuss the highest level that subject demands. I make sure to not only clearly explain “what” to do and “how” to do it, I also take pains to explain the “why” behind it. Because of this, you can hop in at your own level and start getting better immediately. This Ball Handling video is different, though. The progression is still there, but it is a work-out progression rather than a teaching progression. Unlike the skills of Shooting or 1-on-1 Offense, Ball Handling is much less a subject of form and sequence and much more a skill of repetition and drills. Your body learns how to dribble not by intellectually understanding the skill, but by doing it over and over and over. That’s why this video has almost 200 drills and 30 workouts (this clip is just a sample)– because training is the most important aspect to increasing your ability to handle the ball effectively. Now, let’s get started with the fun stuff! Lucky for you, dribbling is learned by doing! The more you can dribble the ball in a high variety of ways, the better your handles will be. And the more fun we can make this extremely important skill…well, more fun …

If you focus on their waist, then you’ll always know where they’re going. If you focus more on the ball or their face, then you’ll be very easy to fake and get by. So we suggest using a “soft focus” on their midsection, while being aware of the other things they are trying to do with the ball. So if you were wondering, “Where do I look when I’m playing defense?” Hopefully this will give you your answer and the reasoning behind it! Play tough D and make life tough on ‘em! The drill starts at 00:46. This drill is a counter drill for a basic off-ball screen, catch and shoot at the elbow. In this situation he’s coming off the screen (chair) and if (and sometimes will) his defender makes it through the screen, this is a counter move that can be performed with your defender attempting to close you out.
